Privacy Policy

This is the official Shadowrocket website and manual. This policy explains how data is handled when you visit this site; it does not replace the privacy information in the Shadowrocket app or Apple's terms. You can read this site without registering or providing an email address.

1. Scope and Information Boundaries

This site provides static pages with purchase-checking guidance, setup references, and instructions. It has no user accounts, email subscriptions, or online configuration upload forms. You do not need to provide your name, phone number, payment details, subscription URL, or server credentials to read the manual.

This site does not provide node services, or provide, sell, or recommend nodes or subscriptions. A one-time client purchase is not a service subscription. Related tutorials assume you already have your own subscription or server details. Handle these details in the app, not in this site's URLs, search parameters, or feedback.

Pages on this site cannot access the app's Config, connection logs, or iCloud content. For information about data handling while using the app, consult its in-app disclosures and the applicable service terms separately.

2. Access Logs and Analytics

We use analytics to understand page views, referral sources, and use of App Store buttons. This helps us improve the site structure, find broken links, and assess how easy it is to find information. Analytics concern browsing activity on this site, not connection activity in Shadowrocket.

Page requests and analytics may involve technical information such as access times, page paths, referring pages, browser and device categories, and IP addresses included with network requests. The hosting provider may also generate access logs for site operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

When you click an App Store button on the download page, we record one store-referral event. It indicates that a click occurred; it does not confirm a purchase or include your Apple Account, payment amount, or order details. Analytics and logs should be limited to site operations, content improvement, and necessary security maintenance.

3. Cookies and Browser Storage

This site does not use account login sessions. Basic navigation uses standard links, and tutorials and option guides do not require saving personal information. Your browser may still cache pages, fonts, and images. Caching is separate from cookies and local storage.

Whether analytics use cookies or other browser identifiers depends on the active analytics configuration and your browser settings. If used, these identifiers help distinguish visits or link activity within the same browsing session; they should not store subscription URLs, passwords, or payment details.

You can use your browser settings to review and clear this site's cookies, site data, and cache, or restrict related storage. Clearing data may cause a visit to be counted again; you can still read the basic manual through its page links. Clearing browser data does not delete access logs already generated by the hosting provider.

4. App Store Links and Purchase Information

The only way to get Shadowrocket is through the App Store product page. Apple operates that page. Any account sign-in, purchase, payment, and order processing there is subject to Apple's terms and privacy policy.

This site does not collect Apple Account passwords, payment card details, or proof of purchase, and App Store buttons do not provide us with order status. Before purchasing, check the app name, official icon, developer Shadow Launch Technology Limited, and app ID 932747118. Check the App Store page for the price, system requirements, and purchase availability.

5. Policy Updates and Questions

If site features, analytics settings, or data practices change, we will revise the relevant terms on this page and update the month shown at the top. If a change introduces a new purpose or scope for data collection, we will explain it when the relevant feature is enabled rather than relying only on these existing terms.

For questions about checking a purchase, importing a configuration, or connecting, first consult the relevant guidance in the FAQ or tutorials. This page does not provide a way to submit personal information. When describing an issue, redact subscription links, server passwords, QR codes, and any other credentials that could grant access to a service.
